The Lafayette is a late 19th century French Louis XVI style fireplace. The split panelled frieze, centred by a roundel, is flanked by a pair of panelled end blocks with carved rosettes. This mantel has been handcarved here in softly veined Bianco Colonnata marble.

  • Material: Marble

    Marble and limestones are natural materials which can vary in colour, veining and may contain markings, small holes and fissures. Due to the intricate craftsmanship involved in the design, there may be slight variations or imperfections.

    Care Instructions: For day-to-day cleaning, dust with a clean, dry cloth. Marble must be cleaned with extreme delicacy as it is porous and can stain more easily than other materials. Surfaces are treated with anti-stain and anti-oil product, however, spills of acidic liquids such as wine, coffee, lemon or vinegar must be wiped immediately. Do not under any circumstances clean with abrasive or aggressive products, acidic detergents, bleach or abrasive paper or steel wool.
